Currently employed using standard mountaineering equipment, the Technical Rope Access concept is swiftly gaining acceptance throughout the world as a safe, efficient, cost saving method for accessing high or exposed work sites, as well as those that are tricky to access by other methods, for example, tanks and vessels that have limited space for installing scaffolding or cradles. As a form of work positioning, rope access offers versatile and rapid solutions to the diverse challenges of industrial access. The continuing expansion of the rope access market is primarily due to its excellent record for cost savings and increased safety. Rope Access allows crews to execute a wide variety of work tasks in many different environments safely and efficiently. Modern Rope Access techniques and equipment have brought revolutionary changes to the rigging, construction, building maintenance and fire, search and rescue industries. Meeting industry and military standards for safety, the PowerQuick® system is designed to enhance the ease and safety of this increasingly popular technique allowing Technical Rope Access to expand to even wider applications and acceptance within industry. Unlike most standard winches, the PowerQuick® system actually moves along the length of the rope instead of wrapping the rope around a capstan. It is quicker and safer than manual climbing and less costly than standard lift equipment for lightweight jobs that require repetitive climbing. Both the model PQ 300-1 and PQ 500-1 are designed for easy, one handed operation. Lightweight, yet Rhino tough, the PowerQuick® powered Ascender allows the user to repeatedly execute a wide variety of work tasks in many different environments. While modern TRA techniques have brought revolutionary changes to climbing industry. The PowerQuick® system takes the revolution the next step by providing the industry and military climbing communities a safe, cost-efficient personal lifting device that is applicable to a broad range of industries and applications. |
